As of 12 August 2026, the new EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) applies across the European Union. It introduces new requirements for the design, use, recyclability and labelling of packaging.
The implementation of the new requirements will take place gradually. Depending on the type of packaging and its intended use, different requirements and deadlines apply.
We are actively addressing the new regulations and continuously reviewing our packaging solutions with regard to recyclability, material efficiency and future regulatory requirements.
Our goal: packaging that provides reliable protection while using resources responsibly and supporting a circular economy.
Our packaging, particularly cardboard boxes, should be reused whenever possible. Sturdy and undamaged boxes can be used for further shipments or storage, helping to conserve resources and reduce packaging waste.
If reuse is no longer possible, cardboard packaging should be disposed of through the appropriate paper and cardboard recycling system. Please remove any non-paper materials, such as plastic films or foam, before disposal.
With this simple approach, we can help conserve resources and support a more sustainable and circular use of packaging materials.
